Updated on March 13, 2012

Tummy is one of the worst things that we wish to have and unfortunately these days 8 out of 10 people have developed tummy due to their changing life style. Tummy is something which denotes that he or she is lazy enough to take care of his or her body. Tummy really creates an inferiority complex when standing alongside with those who do not have fat tummies. A fat tummy really makes us ugly and makes us feel too old. It also prevents us from moving freely with much body flexibility.

Tummies are also a major threat to our health as the tummies are clear indication of hidden diseases that we are having. So before it starts becoming large, try your best to keep it in control so that you remain fit and healthy. There are a lot of medicines, surgeries, exercises etc which would help you to reduce tummy and most of these methods are expensive and common people might not be able to afford the cost. So due to the cost factor most of us turn away from these methods and rather let the tummies grow large on our abdomen, making us prone to prolonged health issues.

Here I would like to provide some tips which helps to reduce tummies and that too without any expense or cost. Reducing your tummies in the best way without any expense would be a great thing and the only thing that you need to have is a good will power to control your mind. All these easy and cheap methods to reduce tummy can be tried yourself at home and that don't need any extra investment or spending of money. Here are some few easy and cheap ways to reduce tummy and get your confidence back.

1) Controlled Diet at Home
Having a controlled diet at home on a regular basis really helps you in reducing your weight and the unwanted fat that is accumulated around your abdomen. Eat lightly and eat the best food that is considered good for preventing extra fats and calories. This is a cheap way of reducing tummy and it only helps you in saving your money by reducing the amount of food that you consume.

2) Jogging
Jogging, especially in the morning is a cheap method and really helps you in burning those extra calories and fats that are accumulated on your abdomen and other parts of your body. This needs to be done regularly and should be done with enough enthusiasm and will power and after 2 or 3 weeks, you can really start feeling the difference and you can see your tummy shrinking slowly. Continue this process for a long time it will prevent the tummy from appearing again on your body.

3) Abdominal Exercises
There are some abdominal exercises available which can be tried at home and this would also be providing exercise to the muscles surrounding your abdomen and thereby reducing the fat accumulated. This would clearly reduce your tummy and make your stomach flat and fit, if you keep doing it regularly. This is also one of the best and cheap ways to reduce your tummy and stay fit.

4) Avoiding Alcohol and Beer
Alcohol and beer are really the greatest enemy of your body as it helps in accumulating fat quickly on to your body. The main reason is the ingredients in beer and alcohol and other reason is that while consuming alcohol or beer we would be taking a lot of junk foods along with it. As a result you would start getting fat and your tummy also gets expanding rapidly.

5) Avoid Food From Outside
Always try to have food made at home and avoid taking food from outside such as hotels or restaurants. This would indeed cost you extra penny and would also pose a threat to your health condition. All the foods that are available outside are cooked in oils that are used many times and are not good to use. The food cooked in these oils helps in the accumulation of unwanted fat in your body and this would obviously lead to the development of ugly tummy on your abdomen.

6) Avoid Oily Foods
Even if you are at home avoid oily foods as most of the food items cooked in oil help in fat accumulation and this would again increase the tummy on your body. Stay away from food that are cooked in oil and try foods that are cooked using other methods.
